Florida Master Site File Legal Disclaimer

Information in the Florida Master Site File is submitted for inclusion in the inventory by many different governments, organizations, consultants and individuals. Information is accepted from historic preservation professionals as well as non-professionals. The Florida Master Site File provides this information on an “as is” basis and makes no representation that the information is current as of the date any user accesses this system. While the information included in the inventory is gathered from sources presumed to be reliable, submitted documentation is not generally verified by the Site File and the information and evaluations of historical significance on such documentation are considered the opinion of the submitting entity. Evaluations of resource significance by Florida State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) staff are noted separately.

Viewing information provided through this system does not represent a consultation under section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act nor does it constitute a review by the Florida SHPO.

Resources cannot be removed from the Florida Master Site File inventory. Destroyed or demolished resources are noted as such but remain in the inventory as historical documentation. We encourage feedback if you believe information in the inventory is incorrect or if a recorded resource has been demolished.
